I guess the real question would be what type of work an individual would be looking to find. There are lots of places hiring, maybe just not the line of work someone feels their education level or experience level warrants.
However, if you got mouths to feed, there is plenty of menial work available. Go to any McDonald's and I guarantee you will find a job. There are even trade jobs who can't retain employees and offer on the job training.
For example I am good friends with a man that owns his own HVAC company. They have more work than they can handle and not enough people to work. He has stated that he would take someone on and offer them the training and education to meet their needs.
I know contractors, they are busier than ever and have the same problem. More work available than they can take on.
Lumber yards and mills, hiring like crazy right now. Shit there is a farm and ranch store in my community and they are hiring and offer retirement, health benefits and above minimum wage for pay. The state wage where I am is much higher than the federal minimum as well.
There is a few examples. The thing is, people feel it's beneath them or that it's not what they want to do. It doesn't mean it's not possible to find work or make a living right now.
I for one would do just about anything to support my family regardless what would happen with my employment. Its not the government's job to provide for me or them. Its my responsibility.
I do however feel that it is also not the government's job to pull the bullshit they have been doing, particularly in Dem controlled states. It has created a shit storm of problems and it's very unfortunate.
Edit: if to of.
Only work available is hard labor in which you have to wear a mask while doing it
Hard labor is already tough on you
Wearing a mask while doing it is being a slave
A slave revolt is what is going to happen if they keep this shit up
I don't disagree with that sentiment. Masks are bullshit as well.
Fuck this bullshit you are spreading about boomer contractors not being able to find help. Back when I didn’t have work, but was looking, it actually became a game to me talking up contractors out in town and leading them right into their usual bullshit story about how they couldn’t find help, kids don’t wanna work anymore, nobody wants to learn a trade. Every single one would spout that bullshit, and every single time I called them out on it by saying I’d be happy to work for them. Then I’d watch the horshit business owners squeak and squirm their way out of what they just said.
I can't speak for you, all I can do is state what I know based on my own experience. There is work available out there for those who want it. Like I said before, if someone has mouths to feed and the need to make money they should and can find work even now. Its just beneath a lot of people especially when they feel entitled to a particular job.
