Back when I didn’t have work, but was looking, it actually became a game to me talking up contractors out in town and leading them right into their usual bullshit story about how they couldn’t find help, kids don’t wanna work anymore, nobody wants to learn a trade. Every single one would spout that bullshit, and every single time I called them out on it by saying I’d be happy to work for them. Then I’d watch the horshit business owners squeak and squirm their way out of what they just said.
