It's completely different from a flu shot, and it actually has less in it than the flu shot.
I keep saying this and nobody listens: there are legitimate reasons to avoid this vaccine, but this is not one of them.

Traditional vaccines use either a killed virus, or a "modified" (sterilized) live virus to trigger your immune response. Killed doesn't work for some viruses, and modified live has a chance to make you actually sick if an virus slips through the sterilization process, so neither is perfect. These viruses are grown in and harvested from the MRC-5 and WI-38 cell lines - the ones that originated from aborted babies - but these cells aren't in the vaccine itself. They also have a bunch of preservatives in them, to keep the virus from breaking down during transport and storage.
This new vaccine has only two ingredients - strands of RNA, and a lipid (fatty/oily) bubble surrounding it to keep it safe. DNA is the master blueprint of your body. DNA makes RNA, a photocopy of part of the blueprint. The RNA photocopy is taken to the ribosomes and used to make all the various proteins your body needs. The RNA in the vaccine is a blueprint for the protein found on the virus's outer skin. Turns out, you don't need actual dead or modified viruses to trigger your immune system, you just need to virus skin protein.
Thenew vaccine is better and more safe than the old ones in some ways, and worse and less safe in others. I won't be getting it.
No vaccine is safe. Not a single one. How did you come to that conclusion? Look up a very recent case between the United States and Australia in which the US Gov was asked to produce vaccine research for the last 30 years and they could not because it does NOT exist. The US LOST that case.
If manufacturers are immune from liability for harm and are required to maximize the return for their investors, aren't they then required by law to cause as many treatable chronic health issues as they possibly can?
