I see where you're coming from now. This future is entirely possible in the next few years.
As soon as the police and military start being attacked from all sides, most individuals involved in those groups will not show up to work anymore. And more than likely join the resistance.
The main problem currently is everyone is fractured over the most minute things. Which was entirely planned. Divide and conquer, if your enemy is full of infighting over frivolous things, victory is certain.
One thing I can guarantee, is that the best computer scientists on the planet are not a part of the government. They are biding their time, and plan to implode the network when/if this shit goes.
Localized networks will still be available to those with the knowledge on the infrastructure still functioning. And they will be necessary.

I know from my activities on the interwebs my name is at the top of the list as soon as they go to round up strong white people that have had enough. Coincidentally I believe what malcolm x came to believe late in his life. Separation of the races is the only way. He was having meetings with the brothers of Islam, and the KKK in attendance to solve this problem. Then they murdered him.
If they come to round me up, the revolution, or at least my final stand will happen at my door step. I have a gun on me at all times these days.
