here are a couple good tricks I use to steer the conversation. If they are a democrat, I explain to them how trump reauthorized the smith mundt act which literally lets the "fake news" everyone hears about happen. Believe me they get riled up over that then i let them know that Obama is the one who snuck that in the 2012/13 NDAA. Thats a big changes people, believe me. If you talk to a republican who is a twat, flip it. explain how obama is the creator of fake news, and they will agree until you explain that Trump kept it going. Once you do that, you have the conversation not sided on any part of the field. you created the field and now made them use their mind to justify it.
