does the cares act stop at the end of the year? i have a hard time reading the jargon. trying to figure out when the hospitals stop getting incentivized by coding everyone under covid and getting $52,000 per patient bonus. Once this money is gone this bullshit will be over.

This was something else that puzzled me. I'm not sure but I do believe this came from the top. Why would Trump let his underlings inside the government incentivize private hospitals in this manner? Once this happened the intelligent among us recognized it. Personally that's what I knew this was going to be drug out deep into the summer and beyond. And here we are. Consume your fear porn citizen. Fuck

I don't think POTUS controls the purse strings once Congress opens the wallet. It's a total scam and if you think about paper money being worth nothing, a rigged system. Taxation is theft.

Like I said, I'm not sure. I don't know if there's something in place that he could have tapped to stop this. Government got so big that it's possible that there could be some sort of obscure law or loophole he could have thrown down with, should he have chosen to do so. Idk, in any case it happened. You are correct, fiat currency is worthless.

well the money did make sense . IF there was a real virus killing millions. Hospitals would never get paid , hard to get money from dead people.

I guess it's best summed up when you say damned if you do damned if you don't. If it was a ruse why let it continue? Are the presidents hands really tied in this situation? Personally, I'm going to go with the bigger question: Will the public ever know the truth? I am Jack's face of everlasting doubt.
