People need to understand that Biden's words mean absolutely nothing. He says one thing one day, and the opposite the next day -- and he doesn't mean either of them.

I'm sure most of the time he doesn't even remember what he said longer than 5 minutes after he said it.

Which according to dimrats, makes him a god. Two faced? Disingenuous? Doublespeak? That's the traits dimrats find admirable.

Biden may be an idiot, but even he knows you can't just give that much money awa....wait wat?

Haha.. They gave away more than the total of all student loans last week. How fucked is that.

[–] 5 pts

There is about 1 trillion in student loan debt, we've done 6 trillion and counting in covid bailouts.

If voting mattered they wouldn't let us do it.

Just like the fracking flip-flop. Just like the national mask mandate backtrack. Biden is a total bitxh to the Deeps.

[–] 1 pt

He back tracked from the mask mandate?

In a sense, he admitted it was federallly unenforceable, but vowed to pressure governors and even mayors to enact it locally instead.

Ah, my state already has one, came out several months ago with a "30 day" deadline and he kept renewing until he just said "until further notice". Luckily I'm in a rural area and no one really cares so we don't wear them anyway.

[–] 1 pt

He can't enforce it. That power is reserved for the states.

[–] 1 pt

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I also pondered about his use of language of "I'm going to ask for a nationwide 100 days of wearing a mask." Keyword being "ask".

He's throwing BLM under the bus as well now that they've served their violent purpose.

Question is are they going to just fade back to obscurity until the DNC needs them to do their boogie man act or start burning and looting again?

If he is sworn in as president. Which is not yet a lock.

Meet the new boss.

Same as the old boss.

Why not force the universities, which are all doubly-complicit in the debt racket, to pay these loans?

I hope they saved all the slush they stole from the loans by overcharging, and all the profit they made from Infosys (etc) for finagling more H-1B visas, because the day will come when they have to pay it back. With interest, of course.

Loan "forgiveness" would hasten the demise of higher education in the US - there's no quicker way to increase the cost of college than to start paying for people's tuition.

He’d be unlikely to remember what he had for breakfast. Joe is legitimately past the mark. It may be a fun fo years
