Trump was brought in (a life long democrat and good friend of the clintons) to put the republican party is dismay.
2016 - republican candidates (rand would most likely have won if not for trump) had nearly 20 people running 2016 - democrats had 3, clinton / sanders / chaffee
The establishment didn't expect two thing to happen.
- Bernie would take off like he did (which is the resulting election fraud that happened against him at the DNC)
- trump to gain so much steam that hillary would have to lose
Rand Paul had less of a chance than Ted Cruz. He's never going to be nominated for President, unless he goes third party like Ron.
In the beginning of the debates it was actually rand and jeb that were in the front runner. then the MIGA train took over
if trump had stayed democrat, rand would have killed jeb
but I agree, he has no chance now, his dad was America's last real hope
