New York could do so much better without NYC!!
...The original Constitution was very anti-socialist. Thing is the FED and the broad interpretation of the COmmerce clause made loopholes.
"But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist."

Agree in sentiment BUT in my opinion the east and west coasts also have to be protected from foreign invasion or (by invitation by DS)if the blue areas are handed over to the leftists. ALL of our borders are important to hang on to and protect from attack or illegal migration - look at Europe - they are defenseless against the surge of migrants who are not there to make the country better. Better if the blue areas are "encouraged" to love it or leave it under the constitution then just to let them have control of our borders.
[...] protected from foreign invasion [...]
There would still be international defensive alliances like NATO, ANZUS, FPDA, etc. Some newly-independent former US states would choose to remain in those, and new ones can be formed. The sole legitimate role of Federal government was preventing foreign aggression, and defensive alliances can do that even better.
[...] the surge of migrants who are not there to make the country better [...]
If the newly-independent city-states of NYC, South Cali, Chicago, Portland etc want to further ruin their economy with unlimited low-IQ immigration, that is their loss. It wouldn't affect the newly-independent freedom nations (red on that map) any more than the current immigration policy of Mexico. They would no longer be able to tax outside of themselves to subsidize it. All businesses, brains, and capital would move out even faster. Having to deal with economic reality (without being bailed out by a Federal government) forces localities to be less irrational, including encouraging merit-based immigration and limiting the Welfare State.
This is actually an accurate map. I hate it when people do it by state. County is even misleading.
The map is just a quick hack. Totally forgot about Atlanta, for example. Just a conceptual example.
But I am dead serious about secession. USA itself was founded in secession, so if it's "illegal" then we are all British subjects! The same applies to all the "New World" being former colonies, as well as the countries that seceded from the Russian Empire, Austrian Empire, Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, etc, etc, etc...
Looking at this map it's obvious that sleepy, creepy Joe won this election fair and square.
The difference between the parties is that Republicans (and libertarians, Constitution Party, etc) have a life outside of government: family, career, business, church, voluntary charity, farming, hobbies, etc.
The leftists, on the other hand, are married to the government. They all get a "government check", whether they're "Welfare" bums, unionized school teachers, college professors, billionaires who use regulations to hurt competition, beneficiaries of "Affirmative Action" bullying, degenerates who want to use government force to punish you for criticizing their degeneracy, etc, etc, etc. (Numerically, the "Welfare" bums are the most common type.)
All those moochers like to stay close to the government teat, which tends to be in larger urban areas.
I'd even doubt these figures. It's all red. United we stand.
I'd even doubt these figures. It's all red.
Never underestimate the multitude of the government addicts (from welfare queens to college professors, trial lawyers, MSM, Google technocrats, etc).
Never underestimate the crazy mental gymnastics they would do to get their cushy government checks.
United we stand.
So you consider yourself a British subject then? US Revolution was the opposite of "united we stand", it was about INDEPENDENCE! And US originally supported independence / decolonization / secession movements in other countries as well.
If you want a dicktaster so bad find an uninhabited island. Stop trying to turn the US into Trumpland.
If you want a dicktaster so bad find an uninhabited island.
I'm a libertarian, and, yes, .
Don't even need an island - see !
Stop trying to turn the US into Trumpland.
I prefer Ron Paul over Trump, but Trump is a pragmatist - he supposedly "knew how to win"... (Not saying the election result are legitimate - the Internet censorship platforms and MSM alone gave Biden an additional 20mil votes! Unsolicited mail-in ballots are not secret, and should thus be illegal. And there's massive evidence of cheating on every other level.)
If Beijing Biden comes to power, by hook or by crook, USA is DEAD! But some parts of it would be better off as separate nations. We own the vast majority of land, and once brains and capital flee from communism we'll have the majority of GDP and everything else as well.
Our example would also empower secessionists in Russia, China, etc. More smaller nations and more intergovernmental competition is the key to a freer more prosperous world, where bullshit governance simply can't stand up to the competition. "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money." Let people vote with their feet!
