There isn’t anything in the constitution to allow a sitting president (or Vice President, for that matter) to stay after 1/20. The power would go to the newly appointed Speaker of the house while the contest was sorted. Not sure what happens if a thin majority in the house can’t agree on a speaker by then.

Scotus will never sail against the political wind, only with it, and billows their sails of supposed unbiased legal opinion only with tailing winds. They believe this insures their relevance and authority in the future but really makes them only that much more useless.

They are irrelevant to any matter of consequence and have announced their withdrawal of article 3 powers from the present dispute, thereby returning any potential remedy to where it belongs, with the legislatures or the people themselves.

Scotus cannot redress a wrong where the legislatures and the people are not willing to correct it themselves. I'm actually glad scotus took a pass. This means the issues are firmly within our sole purview.

Thinking? They are TOLD what to think, isn't that clear? Corrupt to the core, they need to be dismantled. The left has destroyed and corrupted the courts to the core.

I wonder to what degree they have been threatened and to what degree they are instigators.

I would imagine they are thinking they don’t want a Fed Ex driver showing up on their doorstep to murder their families , like the Epstein case judge. That was a very powerful message sent - we will fucking kill your family if you cross the line, regardless of who you are. Message sent and received .
