It's rather disingenuous to infer that I'm a communist sympathizer for merely having pointed out your failed logic. There is NO evidence the guy was a farmer, anymore than he was a murderer. Your assumptions dont count.

My take away is that an extrajudicial murder occurred because of a regime change.

If you were given a choice to farm or die while a gun was held to your head, which would you choose?

Sorry if it came off that way, I meant you may like being right about facts more than winning an ideological battle. I don't.

Farm, but the reason why I'm here posting to avoid that. If you were ever in doubt about whose side the fact checkers were on... from the AP:

Title: Photo does not show Cuban farmer about to be executed under Castro

CLAIM: This picture won the Pulitzer Prize in 1960. It shows a priest giving the last rites to a Cuban farmer, owner of his land. He refused to work for the Castro regime. He died by a firing squad after a trial by Che Guevara that lasted 4 minutes.

Buried in the article:

A caption with the photo in the archives of Getty Images says Father Domingo Lorenzo is holding a crucifix before Cuban Army Cpl. Jose Cipriano Rodriguez on Jan. 17, 1959. Rodriguez kneels before the father before his execution. According to the caption, a military tribunal found the corporal guilty of killing two brothers.

These are the fact checkers, a literal lie in the headline (he was about to be executed by the Castro gov). I won't apologize if a meme stretchers the truth no more than them.
