The post was moved to s/politics. I'm glad to see a similar post in s/news. However, I feel obliged to wonder if someone in the management of poal who moved my post is compromised. Otherwise, explain how a video of POTUS is not news????

News is visible as a link at the top of my screen. Politics is not, although, it might be shifted off because of subs I mod are on top [meant to the left].
I think you can appreciate a user would be offended when their post is moved at all, especially a move rendering it less visible.
I left reddit many years ago when management started to seem weird/biased. I left voat because of misc user infighting. If management doesn't appreciate my contributions, I will leave here. [ I think most self respecting users would do likewise].

That's completely false.

Both subs are default so they show up to everyone even to lurkers not logged in.
Only default subs are managed by admins. We only intervene in user subs when mods or owner is MIA and the sub contains posts that are breaking the ToS (or not properly flagged as NSFW when necessary).
If management doesn't appreciate my contributions, I will leave here.

This is debatable enough not to be a blatant violation of 230, but from the above argurment, it is a violation of 230, and this is something a good poal bear should be very alert about. Moreover, truth loving users shouldn't tolerate it, and we may feel obliged to leave.

While it would not have been inappropriate to post to politics, the sub choice of news/politics of that should remain the choice of the poster.
Ergo, poal.co is compromised, even if management is too brainwashed to realize they are brainwashed.
I'm sure & are fine on a personal level; our society has telescreeens everywhere, it is hard to keep a clear head.
The links at the top of your screen are customizable and you can move whatever you want into those locations.
