The main weak point of the so called left these days, is that, while they pretend to be the champions of the social aspect of things, they factually can't afford to defend blue collar workers anymore to begin with, because they are openly championing globalism, and you can't have it both ways. Globalism, by means of mass immigration, open borders policies, and job offshoring, necessarily leads to social dumping on a mass scale, mass unemployment, and overall deterioration of working conditions at the national level for the benefit of multinational corporations. It hurts blue collar workers and workers in general in the west. The only thing the so called left can promise is to put workers on the doll, expand social programs to infinity, and increase taxes, to infinity, period. That's all they're going to deliver in the end, that's all they delivered. That and totalitarianism.
