I could have told you that. Everyone has emotion and reason. Healthy people can suspend emotion, at least partially, when it is necessary to understand a subject logically. It is normal to be aware of how much your emotions are effecting your thinking and be able to modulate the degree of impact it has intelligently to some degree. Liberals can't do that. The emotion is the logic. Their left brain is entirely a slave to the right, rather than their emotions being informed by logic. This is why we need to teach more concrete thinking subjects in colleges like physics, math. They require logical thinking and can give a standard for what logical thinking looks like for other subjects. That way someone doesn't approach another subject assuming what they are doing is logical thinking because they've never been exposed to what that looks like. Even those in law I have seen fail at some pretty straightforward logic or fail to see that an argument isn't even close to logical. This is why I think there should be zero liberal arts students. Want to pursue a liberal art? Great. You have to pursue a stem subject first, and then you can pursue a liberal arts subject for a graduate subject. Without such a liberal arts focus for undergrads, undergrads can be shorter. Can't handle stem? Then you aren't really college material. That way all college graduates will have demonstrated that they can do real critical thinking and problem solving. Liberal arts subjects would benefit from this. Having everyone in a liberal arts field be effective thinkers, capable of some objectivity, would make argument within the field so much more efficient rather than arguing with morons to keep the subject on track being 90% of the field. TL;DR: These liberals could be saved by stem classes. They have yet to develop left brain independence.
