You'd think that you'd be able to design software / hardware for one of the most important counting functions possible for the justification of the law, at least so that if it "glitches" it doesn't do the exact opposite of what its supposed to.

Last time I bought a coffee from a coffee machine, it has pissed all the coffee without dumping the cup under it, and evidently it took all my money, no refund of course
You would think it could have been designed in a way that prevents it from scamming everybody the moment it runs out of coffee cups for instance, or the moment it has a malfunction is its process
But no, nope, can't have that
Shit's designed to grab money first and foremost the rest isn't really important apparently
You know its cheaper to make coffee at home, if you really need to feed that addiction so badly.
