You then remove the secret ballot, and that leads to intimidation. I like your courage, but there are people whose job or life would be disrupted if they had to come out as a Trump supporter, no doubt more than a few who would reveal to friends and family as a Democrat. There needs to be a way to show that you've voted and only voted once.
