I've been hearing people suggest things get 86ed since I was small & 40 is in my rear view. In all that time this is the first I've ever heard it suggested that 86 is a reference to murder. The whole thing feels like the B team wants the A team out & thinks they're clever so A team makes a stink to get the fans going. Classic non story.
