I get what you mean

At the same time a part of me knows that he is right ultimately, just as right as the store owner shooting looters, context is everything of course

Imagine demonrats win the election, and then all hell breaks loose antifa and BLM are in charge of police departments and a portal to hell is open in the the white house's basement

I'm exaggerating but you get the idea

And you have a government, enforcing covid lockdown rules all over the place at gun point, of course that's the ticket, and they invite UN troops at the party for good measure, because nazis are misbehaving. Yeah that's another ticket.

Of course marches aren't going to cut it because you aren't allowed to march to begin with, and because they don't give a fuck about what nazi wants, because you can only be that evidently, a nazi. It's more convenient to shoot you and your dog.

...

Even thomas jefferson made a case about violence at some point, with the story about the tree and you have to soak it in blood

I get the tree of liberty reference and I'm all for it. If I thought that's what this asshole was talking about I would have moved on. He's a woke SJW douche.

There is no socially “acceptable” way to protest the murder of women and trans and queer people around me every single day.

Because trannies and queers are being slaughtered in the streets, or something.

He's sort of right for all the wrong reasons, and yes he's an obvious SJW 1000% convinced he's fighting the good fight etc

Yet another young clueless moron full of certitudes, typical. That's also one of the reasons why the army likes them young; clueless and full of certitudes. But I digress.

20 years from now if he doesn't self destruct before that, he'll probably look over all this and think "Damn I was so dumb and fucking clueless... If I knew..."

...

Remember when you were his age, pretty sure you held views on topics you thought you knew, that you no longer hold now, and eventually regard as rubbish

You have an excellent point.

Also an excellent point. I'm not sure I would consider any prior views to be rubbish, but I have definitely moved on from a few.
