Other than the Democrats obviously not giving a shit about their communities, I thought of another reason why they might be intentionally allowing people to destroy their cities.
Because these bigger blue cities will likely never flip to red in the near future and it's election year, maybe they are thinking;
If we can get people to move out of the city from all this chaos, maybe we can have them influence the local elections (or out of state elections) this year.
and...
The 2020 census is about to be here. I don't know how all of that works exactly, but I know electoral changes depending on the data from it.
