When did he ever claim to be a conservative? Sure he has conservative ideas on several things, but he's just as fast with the cash as the rest of the bums in DC.
I voted for him to bring chaos and shine a spotlight on the goings on in DC and he seems to be doing a fine job of that. I would have voted for Flipper instead of her though.

Well he became a republican, but that doesn't mean he has a 'statement of faith' to defend his positions. I go for 'populist' in how he wants approval/self-glory, and that means 'going with the flow' to maintain the image.
