Simply put, prostitution is legal, but with extra steps, fewer requirements for the woman, and you can't call it prostitution. Its called "dating".
the man pays for the "date", usually a meal, and is allowed to convince the female verbally to go farther. allowing any verbal connection to the cost of a meal and how much the woman gives in return is not allowed for the man, but is required for the female to justify denying services to the male when his offerings are not expensive enough.
Actual prostitution requires the woman to perform services for money. This requires a woman to hold up her end of the bargain, which most women will object to for any reason they think they can get away with using, which is exactly what happens on a date as well.

I agree with legalizing prostitution for the reasons of regulating it to prevent disease, criminal gangs & violence.
That said, I thinks those women are using up everything special about themselves in the prime of their lives and harming their ability to create lasting loving relationships. They won't be able to pair bond for shit. And most will be too fucking stupid to save up what they have earned for the tail end of their lives, when they couldn't sell and hand job for $5.
