Correct me if I'm wrong but those articles appear to say that Trump plans to reduce social security spending not take money out of the social security fund(which is what I thought you meant) Also one of them states that the republican congress wants to do it not Trump. So if I'm correct then I think saying it has already happened is jumping the gun a bit, and I honestly don't see any congress actually cutting social security benefits and retaining control of congress its far to unpopular an idea on both sides of the political isle. 2 things I just don't see happening no matter who controls congress is cutting SSI or Medicaid/Medicare I just don't think there is enough public support for either idea.
thats his plan for 2nd term. he said "We'll be cutting those programs". maybe i took it out of context but it sounds like he wants to take money from those programs
I honestly just don't see it happening there is just no way there would be enough public support for it.
Does it matter to him if the public approves? As long as his base supports him he'll do it
