I'm not sure he realized how bad, because it sounds like he tries to downplay it
He can't be alarmist for obvious reasons, but even appearing to downplay anything is equally bad. Because if this is the big hit... And I believe it is... Then whoever has even slightly downplayed godzilla will look like a clueless fool
