It's highly unlikely David Goldbergstein who owns the bakery down the street is heading to the synagogue on Saturday to sacrifice children and plot about world domination. However suggesting there is no connection is foolish. The thing about Jews is, they are taught from an early age to prioritize their own above all else, and that makes them essentially sleeper cells.
