I don't feel like I'm qualified enough legally speaking to draw a definitive conclusion over this
However, I feel like letting billionaires having one foot in the cig industry and the other in the medical industry isn't a super good idea to begin with
But eh, that's just freedom right?
Freedom of what? People talk about freedom as if it was an all or nothing thing, I think those people take for granted concepts they haven't fully pondered themselves. Lazy people in a nutshell, ending up caught off guard, nailed, in the end
Usually what happens in cases like that, it is due to over regulation which prevents the entry of smaller players into markets.
Maybe the legal game is cornered in such a way that, one has to move that way to move anything, because of "legacy laws"/jurisprudence
The tobacco scandal of the 90s comes to mind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdUI_0mIkec
Talking about smaller players... Remember westwood and C&C before the usual fuckers bought it and turned the franchise to garbage?
Yeah... No regulation here, just plain old "take the money" combined to "eh, we are doing that for the money, anyway..."
