Indeed. He is one of the few that understands and interprets hypothesis testing properly. The concept of a "third alternative" is one of the greatest problems in decision theory leading to cognitive mistakes and confirmation bias. So, when he starts pulling in data, he usually knows exactly what he's talking about. He closes the points succinctly and people really have trouble refuting his points.
EDIT: Have you seen ? He crushes democracy with data.
