I liked his assessment too. I think the point about how out of keeping the assassination is with our former Iran strategy of containment. That said, it's almost a certainty there's key information we don't know that's informing the decision-making process. And unfortunately, even when we're told a reason, such as 'an attack was imminent and many lives were saved,' it's basically worth it since US intelligence has lied to get us into conflicts before.
