Iran is also extremely mountainous. We are still stuck in Afghanistan, same terrain only Iran actually has a more up to date weapons and shit.

Have you ever been to Vietnam and its huge jungles? I don't think so, otherwise you would know all these young U.S. soldiers that were dragged in weren't trained to fight in such places (intense heat, crazy humidity, disease carrying mosquitoes, snakes, spiders...).
