Medicare for all could work if worker costs were paid for by their employees, like it is now. Drug costs would need to be controlled, removing the insane level of power that Obamacare gave big pharma and insurance companies to charge whatever they want and mandating that the gouge prices be paid. Hospitals need to relearn how to control spending. I'm not saying it is the best option. It could work if both parties would pull their heads out of thier asses and realize that a single payer system is not a gibs-me-dat system. Costs need to be covered and drug prices negotiated. There is no reason the US should pay the cost of the rest of the worlds health care by over paying for everything here, while other countries can keep their own costs controlled to a great extent.
