I know I've said it before, but one thing I learned early on from a small business I worked for was keep your nose out of politics. I was told that we are here to sell the customer [office supplies,] not join political idealisms. We are the neutral party.
And it worked quite well. Other things killed the store eventually, but there was never an issue with any kind of political bullshit.
Business is business. When you decide to get political you are eliminating a portion of the people that would do business with you.
Keep your mouth shut and sell. Simple as that.
Yep, that was the mantra. Person A's money is just as good as Person B's money.
You don't have to like them but you can still take their money. There are limits but for the most part. Business is business.
