Well. What the fuck?

They think this will stop re-offending but I doubt it.

I wonder if there is a limit on how often they can get this and how often they have to be in jail before they can get it. Otherwise they will just go into jail, get their free food/shelter/medical then get $2,500 when they get out to go get whatever drugs/etc that they want.

This system is designed to be abused.

The (((Bolsheviks))) considered common criminals to be "Socially friendly elements", as opposed to political/ideological opponents who are considered "enemies of The People".

What we are seeing is basically the same thing, perpetrated by the same people.

"The enemy of my enemy". Yeah, it works for a while.. Until they realize you are pulling the strings and realize that you are the enemy.

But it all ends in genocide either way.
