Japan is not doing well. Their declining birthrates will be catastrophic, at least they didn't let invaders in... for now. Globohomo is propagandistic the idea that opening the doors will save them. The only place that believes that is Tokyo (a city).

Declining birthrate is troublesome but mostly because of the Ponzi scheme entitlements. Without that it could eventually correct without much issue.
