One of them was the cure for scurvy in UK/Europe even though it was widely known in shipping and transit for a hundred or more years. If too many of the people that "know stuff" die off or forget the knowledge is lost for a time. That includes in society's with written language. Look at the literacy rates in the USA for highschool grad's in multiple major cities. It is shocking how bad things have gotten. They can use TikTok but they can't read or write. That is what I am talking about. When the "lights go out". All they will know is "tiktok not work" and will have no ability to make it work and will probably become violent towards the people that could get it working again. Society collapse can happen faster and in more insane ways than you would ever expect.
