Pshaw. The Anschluss was going along just dandy when Georg fucked everything up and betrayed his own class by spurning Baroness Schrader and shacking up with The Help. Then he shirked his duty and went straight traitor by traipsing The Alps at midnight instead of reporting for duty at Bremerhaven. Rolf was a fine lad who had his 17 going on 18 shit together and did his damndest to save The Captain from himself, but sometimes the best of intentions fall short. That Gauliter guy was kind of a prick, but those positions usually tend to attract hall monitor types.
