I keep saying shit like this and liberal left crazy people look at me like a monster. "Child Labor REEEE" "Everyone should have a living wage REEE". You know what? Some jobs were never intended to be a career. That is a fact that has been real in most of modern society. Some people have no interest in trying to achieve more or do more. They are angry that they don't get to have the same things or get free shit because other people do work more or achieve more. They lash out and demand that they get to make (as a burger flipper) what someone that maintains critical infrastructure is paid (often more actually). It is infuriating. I have been paid "shit" wages to maintain millions of dollars of infrastructure and you think you should be paid at least as much as I was back then when you have fuck-all of responsibility other than trying to not overcook the fires or burn a burger? Fuck off.
