5 guys is very very location dependent. The location in Gresham Oregon was amazing. The 2 locations in Vancouver WA are utter trash. We have 1 location here in my slice of heaven now and the burgers are always overly greasy and the fries soggy.

Not that In N Out doesn't suffer from the same issue but they're cheaper and the good locations are very consistent.

Hummm fair. I have only had In N Out in LA and only a very small hand full of times.

I have ran into a 5guys where the fries sucked because the oil was old.

I still hate the fries from In N Out though. Everywhere I have had them they kid of sucked.

Oh, and this might sound crazy but report that to corporate. It will get fixed. 5-Guys takes shit like that seriously.

I will willingly admit that about in n out. Even the good locations, I can take or leave the fries. Even guessed up animal style I'm not a huge fan.

If you ever get back to LA, look into a city to the East called El Monte. There's a small stand called Art's Burgers. It's right off the 10 freeway. The family took the in n out recipes and have done them BETTER for like 40 years.

Ill bookmark that but I honestly hope that I never end up in LA again. The longer than I wanted to time I spent there was more than enough.
