Nobody should be making close to $40,000 at McDonald's flipping burgers. There's no unique skill involved in flipping burgers, everybody with 2 arms can flip burgers. There's probably people without arms that can flip burgers (you can keep your nasty ass feet away from my food though!), that doesn't mean that job is worth $40,000 a year.
