I get the premise of gov being able to clean up the street if they want to. But people noticing authority brings order seems like they're begging for the boot of authoritarianism on their neck.

California is autocratic, seems expected with how they tolerated covid.

When they get in power, they enact all kinds of laws that allow them to put the knee on the neck of any right-wing, conservative, Christian, White, straight man in the nation and when they try to enforce their laws, the White man finally pushes back. When the White man pushes back, the world changes. Then they cry like little bitches about "fascism" when White people take back their own government and use the very laws the liberals enacted ...against the liberals who created them. There is that flicker of a light bulb. The kleptocrats in power are not left or right they just use whatever propaganda is more useful at the moment. As soon as they are done trying to force changes to society using "progressive" propaganda they will return to using "right wing" propagnada to maximize control. It is for your safety after all.
