I wonder what is the normal number. I have one friend that killed herself. That was shocking.

I'm 54, I only know 2.
My cousin for one. Arguably my brother because he caused his own death by drinking alcohol. I know others who attempted and failed.

Multimillionaire corrupt politicians? I'd guess their minimum of "suicidal friends" is definitely no less than 100. They just hide some.

I'm at one close personal friend, two extended family and maybe 3 individuals i knew casually enough to talk to if i saw them. If someone were a life long career politician or public office et al - simply by coming into contact/ working with dozens of individuals - i can easily accept that number may be much higher over time, however 'close friends or confidants ' is another matter entirely and something more in-line with heavy drug using circles or a criminal enterprise.
Yeah. One of my best friends killed himself in an overdose and my best friend who was basically my bodyguard if I needed back up died too.
Dad was natural causes so I only count 2.
