Seems more difficult that way. The gov have been in the brainwashing/manipulation business for a very long time. They are good at it too. It isn't difficult for them to find people to be their foot soldiers. They just need to select the troops most likely to comply. The NG in the picture here look very young overall, perhaps a generation apart from some of their opposition. The opposition look more like family men. Fathers, sons, uncles, brothers and such. Some of those fathers and uncles probably served in WWII. They would have seen themselves as the righteous then but some may be beginning to doubt that. The young NG men are at the height of their indoctrination so they have no doubt they are righteous. It's how the modern system works. TPTB train each generation to do their bidding.
