I would sincerely hope that you understand that a candle flame on a pipe would do fuck all to heat the water for a shower as the constant flow carries away any heat before it could build up to a noticeable level in the water.

That's basically how a tankless water heater works, though they run 20+ coils over the same flame. You would probably get a degree our of it.
