Funny, I was just thinking the other day that Leonard Nimoy was in the California National Guard back in the 60's, right? I saw old black and white pics of him in uniform out behind the mess hall holding a mop at shoulder arms. Which means that somewhere out there was a whole platoon of guys that could say that they went through US Army basic training with Spock.
