out of the loop here but can someone explain mcarthy to me?
The RINOs are trying to elect a swamp creature (McCarthy) as Speaker of the House of Representatives. 20 actual Republicans told the swamp to get bent and refuse to vote for him. They're voting for anyone else, including Donald Trump (who is, in fact, eligible).
The House of Representatives must elect a Speaker before addressing ANY other business. If they dont elect one in the next 7 days, they wont even be able to process payroll much less do anything like pass govt funding bills. The last time a SotH vote took more than one round was 1923. The record was back in the 1850s where it took 133 votes and 3 months. And THAT resulted in half the country seceding.
I hope they stall this indefinitely and paralyze the entire Federal govt.
