The BSOD usually gives you a decent amount of (arcane) information to tell you what's wrong. I always thought that this type of meme should use the old Mac OS Kernel Panic screen, which gave you no information at all other than restart the machine.

That one works too, and I thought about it at first. But it at least tells you that you had a system error, where the kernel panic screen is just "reboot."

They are the same, except that kernel/system errors on MacOS 9 and below are sent through the serial port.
