The first picture is Richard the Lionheart, and the second is his father, Henry II, both French-speaking Norman invaders, whose primary loyalties lay in their French holdings. There was no love lost between them and their British subjects.

I think the second is Henry the first.

Do an image search on Henry II. That portrait will be among the images.

It comes up when you google the first too. Which is why I thought that is who it was, but I'll defer to you, as I am certainly no expert on the subject.
