No time limit at all (that goes against the purpose of pic8).
Happens to me on different VPN locations.
It seems that pic8 is getting blocked in several countries (especially around Europe).
When it happens, try to open the link in a new tab and check what error your get.

When opening in a new tab I get "The connection has timed out"
