They banned farming to become a carbon sink, because food production, also produces CO2. This met WEF's ESG score so they could use Sri Lanka to sell carbon credits. Dumping black sludge near the playground where the children play? No problem, you just buy some carbon offsets from the carbon credit marketplace, and boom all is right. You are a net zero carbon producer. It's going to work out real well for those rich fucks buying up land, they can just designate that patch of dirt a nature preserver(carbon sink), and make money off it in the net zero carbon marketplace.
it'd be one thing if they left it up and argued it failed for whatever reason, but no they will do their best to destroy any evidence that there is glaring issues with their policies. not that we weren't already 100% sure but this organization is designed specifically to usher in the downfall of humanity to put the 99.9% into abject poverty and forever be subservient to a ruling cocksucking class.
