Operating with the authority of the tyranny of the majority, they have no fear of the appellate courts. They pass an illegal law; it stays on the books for 2 to 3 years; when found unenforceable they pass an amendment and it's back on the books to enforce. The last time the Ill Supreme Court struck down a gun law it took 15 days to put it back into enforcement. https://archive.ph/l08DF
