Given 13:50, you would only need the muslim population to be ~32% black, which certainly seems to be the case (~2.5 times their general population) for the 1.1% of the population that is muslim to account for 10% of inmates.

Just to be clear: this isn't goat-fucker Islam. This is "Nation of Islam" Islam. i.e. the craziest of the crazy blacks who are all about black power and "whitey bad".

A young black kid in jail will too often join a gang to survive ... and most often that gang is the "Nation of Islam".
