People seem to forget that these memes are meaningless/useless. We just end up with Nobility/Oligarchs/Plutocrats regardless of the system put in place. Far less federal control in the US? We'd be a true corporatocracy. Not this thin veneer of a corporatocracy that we have, now. We'd outright be serving our corporate overlords. Sure, the current US is super bloated and corrupt. That's the point of the meme. But we were living in the corporate wild-wild-west which is why we implemented anti-monopoly systems and why we had the stock market crash.
